Style me from Calvary to resurrection

Calvary had always been the first destination for Jesus Christ when He embarked on the earth-journey to save mankind, the grave was the next and His resurrection is the victory.

The birth of Jesus Christ was only the beginning of the journey; His death and resurrection was the actual preoccupation of His birth and this is what Easter commemoration symbolises.

For Christians, this is a season of sober reflection, self-rededication, solemnisation and prayers to God through Christ; the realisation that Christ loves mankind so much that He gave Himself for the forgiveness of sins.

Thus, dressing for the Easter celebration doesn’t come with all the glitz and glamour of Christmas, but with absolute modesty that showcases repentance and purity. If so, what then fits the season? What to wear for Easter is clearly not as important as the colour of clothing.

Purple And White Takes Easter Colour Styling Lead
Purple symbolises the royalty of Jesus Christ as King of Kings, as well as reflection and repentance serving as a call to prayer and preparation for the resurrection morning.

White is the transition from the pain at calvary to the victory of the resurrection morning as Christ is risen, thus salvation and purity become the New Testament for Christians.
