Styling Easter

Easter is here again and as we know, it is the best time to break out pretty pastels, floral dresses and beautiful bright Ankara patterns.

Some cultures believe it is important to wear new outfits, but while this is a great idea, not everyone can afford to do that. But never mind, as you can work with already you have. You may be heading to Easter Sunday church service, serving a festive brunch at home, enjoying a low-key house party or simply relaxing with your family, we’ve got plenty of outfit inspiration for your debut.

The classic choice for Easter is to wear a wonderful dress or jumpsuit. Try a dress in white, pastel pink, yellow, blue, purple, or tan and think sweet ladylike detailing such as tiers, floral or prints, lace, ties and buttons.

Cute Separates
Pair gorgeous separates to create a sweet Easter outfit. Try a feminine midi skirt with a cami, blouse, or sweater or wear pants with a blouse with a pretty print or flouncy detailing. Think pastels, floral or prints, lace, pleats, flounces and add great extras such as bold statement earrings, feminine heels, fun sunglasses and cute bags or purses.

You can wear simple, basic makeup for Easter or you can try something bold around your eyes. Pastel colors in pinks; blues and purples are perfect for you. Try a wash of pink, pastel blue, purple eye shadow and royal blue/light turquoise eyeliner.

Great hair options can include basket weave braids, ponytail, braids, a flower crown, braided buns or a twisted updo. These hairstyles look so pretty and flatter your outfit. Don’t forget your Easter hats, fascinators or decorative hair crowns/pins to finish off the look.

Simple white nails or a French manicure would look great or you can try creative nail polish with pastels, flowers, dots, prints or geometric designs.
