Still On DJ Cuppy’s ‘ Assaulted’ Meat
Disc Jockey Cuppy, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, caused quite a stir on the Internet recently when she posted that she was in her father’s private jet eating ‘assaulted’ meat.

A social media user took a wicked swipe at her, mocking her with her Oxford degree, because of a truth, DJ Cuppy should have written ASSORTED meat, not ‘assaulted’. Thousands of others went for her jugular, but what many do not know is that, the young lady wrote what she actually perceived the variety of meat pepper soup to be. She has no doubt been hearing people who frequent local bars call the pot pourri of meat pepper soup, assorted. As a billionaire’s daughter, she may have not been to one of those places. So, she may have out of curiosity, requested from the Chef in her dad’s private jet, a plate of assorted meat pepper soup.

When the meal arrived, she took a look at it and saw that it actually assaulted the eyes and that is why people call it ‘assaulted’ meat pepper soup. Without seeking a third party opinion, fiam, our sister flew to social media…and that is why you are reading this today.

You guys should have calmed down a bit for sister DJ Cuppy na. The way almost everybody online was bashing her come be like say una get her for mind before and the opportunity to nail her presented itself by itself.
Aunty, sister DJ Cuppy, you sef, dey ask before you post. Wetin sef?

Who Let These Young Soldiers Out?
ONE needs to be afraid with the way some young oldiers are on video daily issuing threats of physical violence on Nigerian civilians for some ridiculous excuses such as wearing a camouflage military uniform. Artistes do wear camouflage uniform in music videos to add aesthetic value and nothing more. It is common practice even though the military authorities had issued a formal warning to them, to desist from the act.

One can understand the position of the army authorities. Criminals had used army uniforms and accoutrements to carry out dastardly acts in the past(many criminals still use them). Most kidnap victims had narrated how criminals in army or police uniforms abducted them. This perhaps gave birth to the order by the army authorities on civilians not to wear the armed forces uniform. But the question here is; who should enforce the order? Every Tom, Dick and Harry soldier on the street or the Military Police? And in a civilian dispensation, do soldiers have the right to go on the streets to arrest civilians for ‘offences’ such as adornment of military camouflage uniforms when the Police force is still in operation?

Now, the frightening part is this daily threats by every young soldier on Tiktok or X videos that they would deal severely with any civilian seen in an army camouflage. Did the Chief of Army Staff give these soldiers the authority to be the spokesmen of the force and that is why they now issue threats daily to “deal with” any civilian that contravenes the order? This ugly trend was first spotted by T4T during the last election when a young soldier was seen on video threatening to kill any civilian that dared to break the movement restrictions order during the polls. When did our soldiers run out of Boko haram and bandits to kill and they have now turned on innocent Nigerians for an act of wearing an army camouflage? Is the army authorities so indisciplined and lacking direction that every soldier fresh from recruitment exercise would be speaking for it?

The recent threat of violence by a soldier was during the week when one of them was spitting fire that if he ever came across the bodyguard of Afro pop star, Kizz Daniel, he would deal with him. And what did the huge bodyguard do? He wore an army camouflage jacket in a comedy skit!

In all T4T’S adult years, and he has witnessed five military regimes, first as a small adult, soldiers did not even threaten civilians with this kind of violence then!

T4T hopes the young soldiers will not issue a Fatwa on him if they read this piece condemning their infantile, blood baying action. As usual, the army authorities will go blind and deaf as it is now doing to the young soldiers threatening Nigerians. The military era was not this bad.

How T4T ‘busted’ Victor Osuagwu
RECENTLY, T4T was taking his evening walk along Thomas Animashaun Street, Aguda, Surulere when a Toyota Siena pulled by, slowly. The driver was stretching his neck in a bid to catch with his eyes, whatever he was searching for. T4T took a closer look at the driver of the vehicle and then the recognisable face of one of Nollywood’s greats, Victor Osuagwu filled T4T’s view.

What could Osuagwu who T4T calls ‘Man na Mumu’ be looking for this hard that he failed to see T4T as he drove slowly by him that late evening? Anyway, so as to bust the actor, T4T did not flag him down. He took position like a seasoned DSS field agent and watched the Nollywood star search gingerly for whatever or whoever he was looking for.

After he drove off, T4T took out his phone and called him. “Man na Mumu’, wetin you dey find for Thomas Street?”
“Where you dey? You see me? Where you dey”? Osuagwu asked frantically. T4T told him he saw him drive by adding “I don bust you!”
“Wetin I dey do wey you bust me for? Man na mumu,” Osuagwu retorted.

T4T and the actor agreed to hang out at celebrity restaurant, O’jez, sometime soon. The actor wants to ‘bribe’ T4T with drinks and food so that he won’t tell what went down on Thomas Animashuan Street.
