Charge and Bail stars

Zainab Balogun, Stan Nze, Pere Egbi, Eku Edewor and many more were among the stars who shut down the red carpet in style over the weekend for the premiere of Charge and Bail.

In attendance were the crème la de crème of the entertainment world, most of who went out of their way to make fashion statements with their fabulous looks in line with the premiere’s theme “Guilty As Charged,” making the premiere talk of the town and trending topic on social media, getting more people eager to watch the movie which opened in cinemas nationwide from yesterday.

Created by Inkblot Productions and FilmOne Entertainment, the movie boasted a star-studded cast including Zainab Balogun, Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, Folu Storms, Tope Olowoniyan, Eso Dike, Craze Clown, Chigul, Bimbo Manuel, Chris Iheuwa as well as current Big Brother Naija second runner up, Pere Egbi, amongst others.

Produced by Eku Edewor and directed by Uyoyou Adia (writer of Nneka the Pretty Serpent and Ghost and The Tout Too), it tells the story of Boma (Zainab Balogun), a high flying lawyer from the upper class who finds herself posted to a Charge and Bail law firm run by Stan Nze’s character, Dotun and his brother Wole played by Femi Adebayo during her NYSC service year. A culture clash ensues between the haves and the have-nots as Boma tries to navigate her new world.
