wapTV’s Omonla honoured at the West African Youth Awards 2017

Popular wapTV’s hilarious presenter, Omonla, was recently honoured at this year’s edition of the West African Youth Awards (WAYA), which held last Sunday at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A graduate of PEFTI Film Institute, Omonla, whose real name is Kalu Ekeazu, received this award due to his outstanding performance as a master of ceremony, dancer, actor and television presenter with wapTV.

Other award recipients include VJ Adams, Toby Grey and Alhagie Manka (Gambia).

The Managing Director of wapTV, Wole Adenuga, said concerning the award to Omonla: “We are really proud of the great job being done daily by Omonla, as well as our other exciting presenters, such as Veronica Effiong, Chief Olododo, Slimmy Tee, Eric and Mama Kwube.
