Apple Music Chart: Olamide’s 99  breaks into Top 5

Renowned rap star and YBNL boss, Olamide Adedeji, has achieved another significant milestone as his latest collaborative single, 99, featuring Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, and Daecolm, enters the Top 5 on the Nigeria Apple Music Top Songs chart.

The star-studded track landed at No. 5 on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, extending its impressive streak since release. It has rapidly gained fans’ love for seamlessly blending styles. Olamide’s gritty street rap pairs perfectly with Asake’s Afro-fusion vibes, Seyi Vibez’s raw energy, Young Jonn’s catchy hooks, and Daecolm’s global appeal.

The song marks the first collaboration between Asake and Seyi Vibez, two artistes who burst onto the scene in 2022, and comes off the back of Kai, Olamide’s collaboration with Grammys winner, Wizkid.

It also comes as the lead single from Olamide’s upcoming self-titled album, featuring 17 tracks, set to drop this June. The album, which will be his 11th solo project, captures the Idan Buruku crooner’s longevity and ability to constantly evolve and stay tuned to the pulse of pop culture.

As part of Olamide’s upcoming album, the single has already sparked buzz online and among industry insiders. It follows his previous project Ikigai, a Japanese term meaning “a reason to live,” which had hits like Metaverse, Habibi, and Uptown Disco, featuring Asake and Fireboy.
