#EWLagos, Livespot X Festival lights up Lagos
In a bid to drive development, investment and interest in the Nigerian and African entertainment industry, Entertainment Week Lagos (EWLagos) has in the last week, hosted a line up of activities centered on learning, opportunities and entertainment.
Delivering the experience of a lifetime, the week-long event, which kicked off last Sunday, has witnessed deal rooms for pitching, negotiating, knowledge and resource exchange for those in the entertainment industry, as well as for content creators and marketers; panel sessions featuring the industry’s best, keynotes, masterclasses, workshops, a film hub and a live café. Other activities include exhibitions, showcases, immersive spaces, fireside chats and a superb music weekend with the Livespot X Festival featuring the hottest artistes in the country.
Kicking off with a launch party last Sunday, attendees were taken through how to create a sustainable career in music, telling stories through comics, navigating brand relationships, evolution of the creator economy, fashion influence in entertainment and African entertainment as the new currency among other topics.
Kicking off with electrifying performances from Fave and Skales, each night had a headlining act with Mavin All Stars taking the audience into another world, belting out latest hits to the delight of the audience yesterday night to kick off the weekend.
Speakers, panelists and facilitators for the week included Alex Okosi, Emeka Okafor, Olumide Osundolire, Koromone Koroye, Yanmo Omorogbe, Harmony Samuels, Kaffy, Denola ‘Grey’ Adepetun, Dimma Umeh, Alex ‘Delz Erinle and Ozinna Anumudu among others.
The weeklong event would end tomorrow with a surprise headlining performance.
