Industry Nite Goes To Dudai with Burna Boy, Wande Coal

AWARD winning artiste Wande Coal and dancehall act Burna Boy have been unveiled as artistes to headline the Industry Nite concert set to take place in Dubai.

   The event, which will hold on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the Kiza Lounge in Dubai, will witness music lovers and fans come out in their numbers to experience live and undiluted entertainment from the headlining acts who will be performing together for the first time in Dubai.

   Kiza Lounge, which is owned by Nigerian entrepreneur, Lukman Akanbi, is located in the heart of Dubai. The African styled restaurant and lounge has played host to a number of Nigeria artistes such as Davido, 2Face, Ice Prince amongst many.

    Speaking on the concert, Founder of Industry Nite, Matthew Ohio said, Industry Nite would continually seek unique opportunities to ensure that Nigerian music is recognised globally. 

    “This year our goal is to take Nigerian music to every Nigerian irrespective of location. I’m always keen on promoting our music beyond this shore. So, Dubai is going to be our first port of call in a series of foreign cities we intend touring this year.

     “We are touring major Nigerian acts around the US, Europe and Asia this year. These tours will also feature international acts from across Africa and America, creating a cultural exchange that will help African music get mainstream attention,” he said.

    Also commenting on what to expect, Burna Boy said, “I feel really excited to be performing on the same stage alongside my brother, Wande. I think this is just about the second time we will be performing together, so it’s definitely go to be a blast, I can’t wait.”

    “Its been a while since I last visited Dubai for a performance, so am looking forward to the 29th of 

January when I get to perform some of my latest singles. My fans in Dubai should expect nothing short of the Black Diamond Experience, cause they’re in for a surprise”. Wande Coal said.

        With top reggae/ dancehall Dj from the Republic of Benin, Dj Highfa handling music on the night and radio personality, Jimmie hosting, guests can be guaranteed an evening of thorough excitement. Entourage Entertainment and events management company- Viva Africa, Kiza Lounge and El Carnaval power industry Nite live in Dubai.        

   Over the years Industry Nite has hosted a number of Nigerian artistes on its musical platform. The event which takes place every Wednesday has played host to the likes of 2 Face, Dbanj, The Mavins, MI, Iyanya, Waje to mention a few.
