Features 11 World Artistes In Music Video
As countries across the world continues with their fight against COVID-19, and many lives already lost to the deadly virus, Iranian music producer and director, Sahar Ajdamsani, have produced a song and music video about the pandemic outbreak.
Titled Quarantine World, the song features 11 famous world artistes with the lyrics in their different languages, which include English, Persian, Dutch, Kurdish, French, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Russkiy, Hindi and Greek.
The artistes include Rodion Gazmanov (Russia), Jyotica Tangri (India), Karwan Kamil (Kurdistan), Fadee Andrawos (Lebanon), Nasos Papargiropoulos (Greece), Alex Jolig (Germany), Flora Fischbach (France), Erica De Matteis (Italy), Jessica Lynn (United States) and Luis Fernando Borjas (Spain).
According to Ajdamsani, who also is the lead lyricist, the idea of the project was to empathise and inspire people who are infected by the virus, as well as save the world.
“We came together to deliver a great message, to not only empathise with the people in this situation, but also to inspire them, as well as to deliver a bigger message that invites people to humanity, kindness, equality and love for each other, animals, planet, environment and plants,” she told The Guardian in a chat.
She said the song also conveys a message for people to help each other to save the world, not only in this pandemic, but also in all issues such as war, global warming, the environment, racial and gender discrimination.
On why she produced the song in different languages, Ajdamsani said: “I tried to include popular languages in this song in order to empathise with the people through popular artistes and make people happy.
“I also invite people through popular artistes to follow the health protocols to destroy the corona, as well as empathize and help each other in these difficult times.”
