Kasope steps out with nothing’s Impossible For You

Nigerian music scene has been bubbling as gospel singer cum songwriter and recording artiste, Kasopefoluwa Sote well known as Kasope returns to the spotlight with his highly anticipated debut single, Nothing’s Impossible For You, an anthem of self-belief that we all need now.

Produced by the ingenuity laden Olaitan Dada, who has worked with popular artistes including Cobhams Asuquo, Dare Art-Alade, Mike Abdul, Monique, Onos, Ṣọlá Allyson, BBO, EmmaOMG, and Waje, the song has emotional depth, rich melody and avid storytelling that encourages people to trust God while facing life’s hurdles.

Kasope, whose journey to this moment has been marked by passion and perseverance, has poured her heart into the track, creating an inspiring narrative that resonates universally. For years, he has been a quiet force, honing his craft, writing deeply personal lyrics, and perfecting a sound that blends soul lifting, inspiration, healing, deliverance, and connecting people to God.

A founding member of the gospel group ‘Made In Heaven’ comprising Lumynors O’ven (now known as Waju) and Olusayo; they released two singles Jeje and Afuru m gi n’anya. He started his musical journey from the choir at the age of 17. He is emerging as a compelling voice in the contemporary gospel and soul terrain. He brought his experience to bare in the present breakout project.

Commenting on the what inspired the song, Kasope said: “While walking back home in 2019, the lyrics of the chorus emanating from Luke 1:37 overwhelmed my soul. This was later re-affirmed while listening to a sermon in church”.

He added that the aftermath of losing his dear mother, Adetoun Sote and facing other challenges, contributed to the formation and shaping of the lyrics of the song’s verses prior to recording in 2025.

“Nothing’s Impossible for You expresses the heart of one trusting God when circumstances question one’s faith. Can God solve this? Can he heal, save, restore or bring me out of the pit of despair when all hope is lost?” he queries rhetorically.

“I sang it in first person with the intention that anyone can sing it to the Most-High as a declaration of his or her faith in Him. I strongly believe the song will stir up hope and faith in the hearts of everyone who listens and inspire them to face seemingly impossible situations head on, while trusting God to solve them. I’m grateful to my father who taught me the art of perseverance, and stood by me through those challenging times,” added the son of veteran journalist cum columnist, Lekan Sote.

Besides singing, Kasope as a multi-talented creative is a professional illustrator and animator. He is already working on his next release titled Kòsẹ́ni featuring Olaitan Dada as well as his EP Jars of Clay. He remains dedicated to writing and singing songs that inspire, heal, deliver, and connect people to God.
