Rising Afro-pop maverick, Llona, has provided free counselling and mental health therapy sessions for his fans throughout the month of May. Partnering with Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI), via a dedicated www.boyllona.com portal, Llona creates a comforting experience of his artistry, striking a deeper chord with his fanbase. The move is also in commemoration of the mental health awareness month, this May, all of which represents Llona’s musical personality.

Born Michael Ajuma Attah, the Kogi indigene uses his music as a therapeutic outlet, offering solace through his deeply reflective lyrics and resonant sound.

“Your mental health is your pride. I want to highlight the prevalence of mental health issues among the Nigerian youth. I want people to know that they are not alone in their struggles,” he tells Weekend Beats.

Demonstrating his commitment to the cause, Llona will also partake in the counselling sessions and therapy sessions. The initiative not only casts a spotlight on mental health awareness in Nigeria but also celebrates the courage of those who step forward to share their stories.
