Songwriter cum beat maker, and the producer behind Rema’s hit song Calm Down, and Rush from Ayra Starr’s album 19 & Dangerous, Alexander Uwaifo known in the music industry as Andre Vibez has launched a new record label called Vibez Music Factory (VMF).
The label, according to the Edo-born, aims to elevate the Nigerian music landscape, focusing on top-notch production, compelling storytelling, and artiste development, with an emphasis on fostering global connections.
The label’s Marketing Manager, David Adeyemi, said VMF is poised to take Nigeria’s music scene to new heights, leveraging Andre Vibez’s over a decade of experience as a producer. He highlighted Vibez’s impressive track record, which includes producing hits like Ayra Starr’s Rush and Rema’s Calm Down which peaked at No.1 on the India IMI International chart and No.3 on Billboard Hot 100 after its remix with Selena Gomez.
