The Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP), producers of the multiple award-winning television drama series, Superstory – Oh Father! Oh Daughter! Omoye, Rejected Stone and The Other Side, among others; have announced that a new drama series, titled, The Curse, would start airing across the country and worldwide on Thursday, August 8.

The star-studded cast includes, Adebowale ‘Debo’ Adedayo, well known by the stage name Mr Macaroni, Yetunde Barnabas Olayinka (Miss Pepeiye), Hafiz Oyetoro (Uncle Saka), Gloria Young, Babaseun Faseru, Sa’eed Muhammed (Funky Mallam), Fatai Adekunle Adetayo (Lalude), Segun Arinze, Kate Adepegba, Dele Odule, Olajumoke George, Samuel Olasehinde, Joke Muyiwa, Temitope Aremu, and many more favourite actors cum stars.

Speaking on the new TV drama, the producer, Wale Adenuga Jnr. said, “Superstory: The Curse is a very captivating story that would hook viewers from the very first episode. In addition to the great production design, and the multiple celebrities in it, the programme (TV drama) stands strong on the foundation of a very fascinating story which is authentically-African and relatable to viewers of all ages.

“After Superstory recently won the ‘TV Drama of the Year’ award at the Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA), we promised something extra special, and here it is,” he added.
