CKA Students Shine as National Microsoft Office Specialist Champions

The City of Knowledge Academy has once again blazed a trail of academic excellence as one of its own, Darasimi Adekunle, emerged the National Champion in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) PowerPoint Office 365 category.

With this remarkable achievement, Darasimi has earned a coveted spot to represent Nigeria at the 2025 World MOS Championship, scheduled to hold this July in the United States of America.

This proud feat marks the fourth consecutive appearance of the City of Knowledge Academy at the prestigious global tournament, a tradition that speaks volumes about the school’s unwavering commitment to developing globally competitive students.

Darasimi, an outstanding scholar, recently recorded an impressive UTME score of 356 and equally shone bright in her 2025 Cambridge IGCSE examinations with 7As.

Her triumph in the national MOS competition is a testament not only to her brilliance but to the culture of academic rigor and digital literacy nurtured at City of Knowledge Academy.

The school has consistently paraded national winners at the MOS competitions year after year.

In this 2025 edition, four students from the academy emerged as national champions across different categories—Word Office 365, PowerPoint Office 365, and Excel 365—further cementing the school’s reputation as a hub for academic and technological excellence.

They include Segun Adekanbi, 2nd place National winner PowerPoint 365, Sekinat Agbelesola, 3rd National winner PowerPoint 365, Daniel Onyeabor, 4th place National Winner PowerPoint 365, David Adeyemi, 4th National winner Word 365.

As Darasimi prepares to fly the Nigerian flag at the world stage this July, the entire City of Knowledge Academy community, parents, staff, and students alike, extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.

We celebrate our first-place national winner and eagerly look forward to seeing her excel among the world’s finest young digital talents.
