Chelsea is considering recalling defender Jake Clarke-Salter. That’s according to The Independent, who claims several Championship clubs are interested in signing the talented 22-year-old.

Clarke-Salter has impressed during his loan spell with Birmingham – making six appearances and scoring a goal during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Millwall.

Chelsea has a clause to recall the defender in January and is seriously considering bringing him back to Stamford Bridge when the January window opens.

Reports also say that Atalanta is set to sign Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic on a permanent basis.

Pasalic, 24, joined Chelsea from Hajduk Split for £3million in July 2014 but has never made a competitive appearance for the west London club.

He’s since spent loan spells with Elche, Monaco, AC Milan, Spartak Moscow and Atalanta.

Now, Serie A side Atalanta plans to trigger an option to purchase Pasalic at the end of the season for £12 million.

The Blues have always shown interest in signing Leicester star, Ben Chilwell. And now The Athletic claim Chelsea are ready to splash the cash if their two-window transfer ban is reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

It’s claimed if Chelsea is successful in its appeal, they will press ahead with a move for the £60 million-rated England international.

Chelsea is also confident of winning the battle to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

That’s according to Goal, who claims Frank Lampard’s side is prepared to shatter their transfer record to secure his services either in January or next summer.

Chelsea’s current transfer record stands at £72million paid for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao. But Goal claim Chelsea executives will green-light a bid that could potentially dwarf the £89m Barcelona paid Dortmund for Ousmane Dembele in 2017.

Sancho, 19, is reported to be unhappy at the Westfalenstadion with Liverpool, Barcelona and Manchester United also competing for his signature.

It has also been reported that Juventus are interested in signing Emerson.

According to Italian publication Calciomercato, who claims Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici has contacted Chelsea to discuss a potential transfer.

Emerson, 25, has featured in eight of Frank Lampard’s opening 13 Premier League fixtures as manager.

The Italian international appears ahead of Marcos Alonso in the Stamford Bridge pecking order but the emergence of Reece James at right-back has seen Cesar Azpilicueta move to left-back.
