World bronze medalist at the last Senior World Wrestling Championships, Odunayo Adekuoroye has been applauded by the management of Halogen for winning the only gold medal for the country at the recent Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series tournament held in Rome.

Halogen, a leading security risk group in the country, had agreed to take up responsibility of Adekuoroye’s preparation towards achieving success at the Tokyo Olympic in Japan, in the Adopt-an-Athlete Campaign initiative of the sports ministry.

Adekuoroye, who defeated India’s Anshu Anshu 10-0 through a technical superiority in the final to win a gold medal, according to Halogen Group Managing Director of Halogen Group, Mr. Wale Olaoye, was something to behold.

“Halogen Group is proud to celebrate with Adekuoroye Odunayo and Nigerians globally, as she defeated India’s Anshu Anshu, 10-0 to win gold in the women’s 57kg at the 2020 Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series tournament in Rome.
