Akinkunmi Amoo joins Omonia on 3-year deal
Nigerian international, Akinkunmi Amoo, has completed his transfer from F.C. Copenhagen to Omonia Nicosea of Cyprus on a three-year deal.
Omonia on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Amoo via a statement on their official website.
“We have reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen to sign 21-year-old Nigerian winger, Akinkunmi Amoo,” Omonia wrote.
“The cooperation contract is for three years.
“The footballer started his career at Hammarby IF and a year and a half later he transferred to FC Copenhagen.
“We welcome Akinkumni Amoo to the OMONIA family and wish him every success,” the Cypriot club said.
Amoo will be the new teammate of Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho at Omonia.
The young attacker had a few problems at Copenhagen in Denmark after being accused of rape and sexual assault.
Amoo was a member of the Golden Eaglets squad at the 2019 FIFA under-17 World Cup.
