Akpabio engages budding sportsmen, young progressives in mentorship conversation

Desirous of contributing positively to the country’s sports and youth development, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dayo Israel, at the weekend, hosted Senate President, Godswill Obot Akpabio, in an interactive session themed “An evening with the Senate President,” at the APC Youth House in Abuja.
 
The event featured emerging sportsmen, youth leaders and young professionals in a mentorship and dialogue session, tagged “Legacy, journey, experience.”
 
Speaking at the event, Israel commended the Senate president for his steadfast commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment within the party. He described Akpabio as a transformational leader whose remarkable journey in governance continues to inspire a new generation of leaders.
  
In his address, Akpabio shared insights drawn from over two decades of public service, highlighting the importance of preparation, mentorship, and consistency in leadership, urging young people to build capacity and remain steadfast in their commitment to national development.
