AkinAbraham Engineering Services Ltd. (AAESL) has partnered with Motiva Sports, organizers of the Footprints to Greatness (F2G) Initiative, to equip young talents with technical, digital, vocational, and career development skills across engineering and sports.

The F2G Initiative is a transformative program designed for young athletes, aspiring engineers, and digitally inclined youths seeking to combine their passions with hands-on training and career opportunities. It provides a structured platform where sports meets STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), alongside vocational and internship opportunities, fostering a new generation of skilled professionals.

A key component of this collaboration is the vocational and internship program facilitated by AkinAbraham, where F2G participants will gain first-hand industry experience in engineering and technology-related fields.

Through this initiative, selected youths will have the opportunity to undergo vocational training where they will learn practical skills in electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering, preparing them for technical roles in various industries.

The selected youths will intern with AkinAbraham Engineering, whereby, F2G participants can engage in hands-on internships, gaining workplace experience in engineering projects, infrastructure development, and innovative solutions.

They will also receive mentorship and certification. This will see trainees receive guidance from industry professionals and certifications upon program completion, improving their employability and career prospects.

Speaking on the collaboration, Engr. Seun Aduwo, MD of AAESL, emphasized:
“This partnership is beyond just training; it is about creating real opportunities for young minds to develop technical expertise and build careers in engineering. Through our vocational programs and internships, we aim to nurture a skilled workforce that can contribute to national development.”

On his part, Babajimi Ogunlana, CEO of Motiva Sports, highlighted the importance of equipping young talents with both athletic and professional skills:
“We believe that success is built on education, discipline, and adaptability. By partnering with AkinAbraham, we are ensuring that F2G participants not only excel in sports but also gain practical skills that can sustain them beyond their playing careers.”

Key Focus Areas: Technical & Vocational Training – Equipping young individuals with engineering, technology, and hands-on skills for career growth.

Internship & Employment Pathways – Providing F2G participants with direct access to internships and work placements at AkinAbraham.

Community Development & Job Creation – Reducing youth unemployment through practical skills training and career mentorship.
