Boboye knocks Enyimba after Plateau’s loss
His team might have gone down against the 2015 Champions in Calabar on Wednesday but Plateau United coach Kennedy Boboye is far from impressed with the attitude of Enyimba players during the Match Day 8 contest.
The game’s only goal arrived after just 10 minutes on the clock when winger Stanley Dimgba converted from the spot. Most of the remaining periods were played in a stop-start manner as tackles flew everywhere on the pitch.
“It’s a shame if a team is (playing) on the continent and are playing like this,” Boboye told www.npfl.ng after the game.
“A team cannot be playing every two minutes on the ground. We will see the result in the continent,” bemoaned the Coach, who played professional football for Sharks, Udoji United and others.
Indeed, one of the game’s final action saw Plateau United captain Salomon Junior sent off for an off-the-ball incident with Enyimba captain, Ifeanyi Anaemena. Boboye was quite displeased with the whole drama.
