The vice Captain of Ibadan Golf Club, Brig-Gen Edward Lot has announced October 17 as the date for the newly initiated Patrons’ Cup Golf tournament introduced to foster better relationship among the two Ibadan based golf clubs, football betting Tiger Golf Club and Ibadan Golf Club (IGC).

Speaking after winning the birthday kitty held at the Ibadan Golf Club to celebrate the 65th birthday of former Minister for Police Affairs, Chief Jelili Adesiyan, Brig gen Lot explained that the maiden Patron’s Cup will be held at the lush-green golf course of the Tiger Golf Club situated inside the Ojoo Military cantonment of the Second Division of the Nigerian Army on October 17, most winning odds while this year’s annual Tiger Open will be hosted at the Ibadan Golf Club at a date to be announced soon.

At the birthday kitty, Gen Lot recorded 89 gross over 70 net to beat Brimmo C., who returned with 94 gross over 70 net, to end on the second position, while Evelyn Oyome won the ladies’ best net with 76 gross over 70 net.

The idea behind the Patron’s Cup, according to the vice Captain, who had been in the vanguard of fostering better relationship between the golf clubs that have the General Officer Commanding Second Division of the Nigerian Army (GOC), Major-General Anthony Omozoje, as its patron,how to never lose a football bet is to further strengthen the cordiality among IGC members and Tiger Club members.
