Eagles hail Aina’s premier league goal award

The duo of Leon Balogun and William Troost-Ekong yesterday congratulated teammate, Ola Aina for winning the English Premier League goal award.

Aina’s beautiful left-footed effort for Fulham against West Bromwich Albion was picked as the best goal scored in the league for the month of November by judges and fans.

The 24-year-old also became the first Super Eagles player to scoop the award in the process.

Shortly after the announcement was made, Balogun and Ekong took to their social media platform to congratulate the full-back.

“Mr. Lulu!!!! Congrats my brother – what a banger or to use your words “booooow” @Aina2Ola” Balogun wrote on Twitter.

Ekong who is also plying his trade in the English Championship with Watford also said he’s proud of the former Chelsea defender’s achievement.

“Proud of you bro @Aina2Ola, Ekong wrote.

Meanwhile, Aina is expected to be in action for the Cottagers against champions Liverpool at Craven Cottage today.
