FCAAN congratulates Gusau, pledges continued support for NFF new board
Football Coaches Association of Africa Nations (FCAAN) President, Dr. Terry Babatunde Eguaoje, has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, pledging their continued support to the country’s efforts to develop the game.
Licensed by the NFF, the highly-rated FCAAN has played a key role in coaching education in Africa, especially Nigeria.
“On behalf of FCAAN members worldwide, I want to congratulate Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau on his success at the elections of Friday, September 30 in the ancient city of Benin, Edo State.
“His emergence is a confirmation of his true commitment to the growth of the beautiful game in Nigeria.
“Gusau is a strong supporter of what FCAAN is doing in Nigeria and together we will change the narratives about coaching and coaching education in Nigeria,” Eguaoje stated.
FCAAN recently completed its Grassroots ‘F’ and ‘E’ coaching courses in Lagos State and is currently registering candidates for its ‘D’ course in the state.
FCAAN is the largest coaching body in Africa, with members worldwide.
