
Nigeria and Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, has won the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for August.
The German topflight organiser, Bundesliga, announced Boniface as the winner on their X handle on Thursday.

Boniface had already won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for August.
It has been a dream start to life in the Bundesliga for Boniface after joining from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise.
The 22-year-old scored two goals and provided an assist last month for Leverkusen.
His impressive performance for the German club earned him his first call-up to the Super Eagles, in their final 2023 AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe last Sunday.
The striker marked his debut with an assist as he set up Samuel Chukwueze for the Super Eagles 6th goal in the 6-0 win.
