There is a family atmosphere in the Super Eagles camp that Ola AIna cannot think of being anywhere else right now.The Torino defender, who was dropped from the squad to the 2018 World Cup, but started Nigeria’s two games in the on-gong African Cup of Nations and he confesses that the feeling is right.

He can play in either of the fullback positions even though he is right footed and so far he has been one of the most impressive performers for Nigeria here in Egypt.

Speaking on his duties at the AFCON after yesterday’s defeat of Guinea, Aina said, “Left side, right side for me it is still the same. I feel comfortable on the left just as I feel on the right.

“Of course, last season going to Italy has helped me and I thoroughly enjoyed it so I feel like I have improved.“There is still more to improve on because I don’t feel I am the finished product yet but I am enjoying my football right now and I am enjoying this team.”

The Chelsea academy product, who had earlier captained England’s U-19 side, Aina recently made his move top Torino permanent after an impressive loan stint in the Italian city.He made his competitive debut for Nigeria against Zambia in a World Cup qualifier back in October 2017.
