He currently serves as the Creative Director and Partner at Yikodeen, Nigeria’s leading safety company in oil & gas, specialising in the production of safety boots, combat boots, and back-to-school shoes.

His previous roles include Image Consultant at Payporte and Studio Producer at Souk to name a few.

Maurice has been recognized for his influence in fashion, being listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 and Times as one of the most prominent people in fashion. He has also been featured in Essence to discuss the future of fashion.

Now, Maurice is ready to drive the next chapter of growth and innovation at Yiko Plus, ensuring the brand continues to meet the ever-evolving needs of its active and style-conscious community.

Maurice will unveil his first collection with Yiko Plus, titled “Own Your Journey”, which is designed specifically for runners and active sports enthusiasts. The collection is set to launch on November 22, 2024.

As Creative Director, Maurice Sokari Fubara will collaborate closely with Yiko Plus’s product development, marketing, and retail teams to bring fresh, innovative collections to market.

He will focus on pushing the boundaries of athleisure, incorporating new trends, technologies, and sustainable practices into every design.
