The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos will this afternoon, at the Agege Township Stadium, trade tackles with Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna.

Today’s encounter, a match-day 17 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), has been declared to be a must win for the Olukoya Boys against their fellow newcomer, Tornadoes.

Leading the outburst against their opponent is MFM utility player, Bashiru Monsuru.

Monsuru said the clash is a must win in order for them to make progress on the log of NPFL.

“We must win the match and I feel it’s going to be an easy one for us, because Niger Tornadoes have not been that fantastic this season. We don’t like the fact that we drew our last match and by the special grace of God we will defeat them.

“We respect them, but if you check our home record this season, you will see that we have not lost any match. We drew three matches against the top teams, though, they were games that we should have won.

“I strongly believe that we will keep our home record and come out in flying colours on Sunday,” Monsuru declared.

Niger Tornadoes FC are yet to pick a point in their last five away matches as they have only managed to score two goals.

MFM FC are yet to taste defeat on home soil this season, a feat, which has made Monsuru to express confidence that the team will do everything possible to keep the record clean.
