Teenage midfielder Jonathan James Naisa continued to enhance his growing reputation in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after finding the net in Wikki Tourists’ 2-1 defeat to Bendel Insurance on Sunday.
The highly-rated youngster was on target as Wikki Tourists fought back from an early setback at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, although his effort was ultimately not enough to prevent the visitors from claiming all three points.
Bendel Insurance silenced the home crowd with an early goal inside the opening minutes, putting Wikki Tourists under immediate pressure. The hosts, however, responded positively and gradually worked their way back into the contest.

Wikki Tourists pushed forward in search of another equaliser, but Bendel Insurance held firm to secure a valuable away victory.
Despite the defeat, Naisa once again emerged as one of the game’s standout performers.
