Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II has commended Paulson Football Academy for being in the vanguard of football development in the country.The monarch, who received students and officials of the academy in his palace as as part of activities marking his first year coronation, said the institution since inception has given youths in the country the opportunity to develop and exhibit their talents. He also thumbed up Paulson British School for providing quality education to their students.

“I am very excited with what Paulson Football Academy is doing in the area of youth development in the country. The academy through its activities has led to the discovery of some talented youths, who are now household names in Nigerian football,” the Oba stated.

In his remarks at the occasion, an elated chairman of the academy, Humphrey Paulson applauded the Oba for his quality leadership since ascending to the throne of his forefathers.

“We are encouraged by the Oba’s gesture, which serves as morale booster to us and we’re promising to do more,” he added.The highlight of the visit was the presentation of various gift items to the academy and the school by the royal father.
