Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru has confessed that he is already seriously thinking about extending his stay with the Turkish Super Lig club, which he joined on loan from Everton of England.

Onyekuru’s move to Gala came after a stormy similar spell on loan at RSC Anderlecht of Belgium, but the Super Eagles rookie says he is having a comfortable time in Istanbul.

With the settings Onyekuru has seen at Galatasaray and Anderlecht turning out to be drastically different, footballlive.ng gathered that the former KAS Eupen of Belgium winger-cum-attacker is now thinking of remaining at his present base.

In contrast with the spat that occasioned his unceremonious exit from Anderlecht, which he accused of blocking his hope of playing for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Onyekuru has praises for the crew, players and fans of Galatasaray.

Correlatively, the fleet-footed youngster admits he is seriously thinking of getting an extension to his loan deal in Turkey, admitting that he would welcome a long-term deal with Galatasary.

Onyekuru admitted he would have loved to stick with Everton in the English Premier League, as he always dreamt about in England, with Arsenal his favourite club, he rued that work permit issues had put that hope on hold.

Onyekuru stressed: “I am very happy here. I love Galatasaray. My dream is to play in the Premier League, but I am having some problems with the work permit. If they agree with Everton, I will stay at Galatasaray.”
