Stephen Keshi Stadium’s opening thrills 92-year-old Deltan
The official opening of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, has been described as a dream come true by senior citizen, jackpot 92-year-old Oguefi Jiduche Onyia.
Onyia worked for conglomerates like the UAC in his active days.
He said his happiness in life was to watch the Africa Athletics tour, Volleyball Betting the test event at the Stephen Keshi Stadium last Wednesday.
“Today is a very special day for me,” he said.
“Now I am fulfilled. I trekked from Okpanam to the Stadium,’’ said Chief Onyia who at 92 years of age walks around without a walking stick, football prediction and analysis very coherent, agile and articulate.
Chief Onyia expressed his gratitude to Governor of Delta State richest football club Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for completing Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
“I am very pleased with Governor Okowa; he is the 16th Governor that has ruled Delta State.
“Asaba has been the capital city of Delta State for many years but it isonly Okowa that deemed it fit to complete this stadium, the richest coach in the world God will bless him.”
