Super Falcons star Echegini set to join Juventus

Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini is set to seal a transfer to Juventus women’s team in January.

According to Italian journalist Mauro Munno, Echegini is expected to depart her US side Florida State Seminoles for the Italian giants.

Born in London, England, the 22-year-old made her debut for the Super Falcons in 2022.

She has six appearances for the Falcons and has scored one goal.

Her only goal for the nine-time African champions was in a friendly game against New Zealand on 11 April 2023. The Falcons won the friendly 3-0.

She made three appearances for the Falcons at this year’s FIFA women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Also, she has been invited to the Falcons’ 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Cape Verde.
