Winners Golden Bet (WGB), a growing sport-betting business, has introduced a global jackpot and brand new sport virtual that will give stakers the chance to win more on the WGB’s platform.

At the recently launched programme in a bid to stay ahead of competition, the Executive Director of WGB, Mr. Sulaiman Olabanji, said that the launch of the two initiatives at the corporate office in Lagos was a good development.

Olabanji, who disclosed that the new initiatives was in response to complaints and suggestions by stakers and agents, said the company has been working tirelessly with its technical partners, Elbert International Limited, Serbia to improve its service delivery to stakers and agents in view of the increasing competition in the country’s sports-betting business.

According to Olabanji, it is possible for stakers to win humongous amount of money in the world jackpot when they play on the WGB platform.

Also speaking at the launch, the Managing Director of Elbert International Limited, Danko Vukovic, said the new packages on the WGB platform provides double offers for stakers as the newly introduced virtual sport, which incorporates virtual football, dog race and lucky-ball would offer stakers 11 different options to win even as jackpot winners in the three categories automatically have opportunity of taking part in the world jackpot.

According to Vukovic, world jackpot would be won in euros as soon the winning is confirmed.

To allay fears over delay in payment of winnings in foreign currencies, the Chairman of WGB, Hon. Idowu Obasa, who was also in attendance at the launch, assured stakers and agents that world jackpot winnings would be paid expressly as soon as the winning is confirmed.

“Even if we have to pay from our purse and get reimbursed later by Elbert, we will pay because the jackpot was won on our platform. We will do this because our reputation is at stake,” Obasa assured.
