Young boxers thrill crowd at GOtv Boxing NextGen Search 3 in Ibadan

Selectors and members of the audience at GOtv Boxing NextGen Search 3 were delighted by the display put up by young boxers who are participating in the programme.

The event, holding at Walan Hotel (formerly D’Rovans) in Ibadan, was formally declared open yesterday.

GOtv Boxing NextGen Search 3, which has attracted about 300 boxers, said selectors had provided an indication that the future of Nigerian boxing is bright.

Among the selectors at the programme are Coaches Joe Mensah, Jerry Okorodudu and Obisia Nwakpa. They described the standard of boxing exhibited by the youngsters as impressive. Boxers from Jos, Plateau State are among those attending the event.
