Yusuf lists 30 NPFL players for La Liga friendlies
Super Eagles Interim Coach, Salisu Yusuf, have chosen 30 players from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for a training camp ahead of a series of friendly matches against La Liga sides, Valencia and Malaga, next month, reports africanfootball.com.
According to the report, the final squad of 23 players chosen from the camp will fly out to Spain early next month for the friendlies.
The date and location of the training camp have not yet been decided.
Yusuf was in Bauchi on Sunday to meet with the two coaches that will assist him handle the league All-Stars, Abdu Maikaba of Wikki and Imama Amapakabo from Enugu Rangers.
The La Liga challenge matches are being staged under the auspices of a working pact between the League Management Company (LMC) and La Liga.
