The General Overseer, Foursquare Gospel Church, Revd. Sam Aboyeji, has enjoined Christians to always fulfill their own obligations with God whenever they are to use any of His covenanted in prayers.

He disclosed that benefitting from God’s Covenant names depend on the mutual relations that exists between the believer and God.

Rev. Aboyeji made this disclosure at the Foursquare Gospel Church 2024 Molete District Convocation with theme: ‘El-Shaddai: The Almighty God,’ which took place at the District’s Headquarters, Lagelu Estate, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

He said: “Every Covenant name of God carries a covenant promise and each time we appeal to God’s Covenant name, there is a condition to fulfill. God reveals Himself to father Abraham as El-Shaddai in Genesis Chapter 17:1 that shows He is the Almighty God and can do all things, which He proved by giving him Isaac at the age of hundred.

Frowning at the level of corruption, which is setting the nation aback, the cleric called on government and its agencies to sincerely fight this enemy of progress by relieving corrupt officials of their positions and retrieve the money they have stolen from them, saying this will help bring sanity to the nation.

Molete District Overseer, Rev. Gabriel Akomolafe said in believing firmly on God’s covenant name “El-Shaddai,” every human and financial needs would be met.

He urged government to come up with policies that will restore hope to the people and boost the economy.

The Chairman, 2024 Convocation, Brother David Oluwaremilekun, was grateful to God for the success of the convocation, which he hinged on prayers and faith.
