Avoid pitfall that made children of Israel to displease God, Kumuyi tells members
General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi has urged members of the church and by extension Christians not to end their Christian journey the way children of Israel ended theirs by complaining, grumbling and murmuring. He said those who complain, grumble, murmur and belittle God’s blessings in their lives, displease the Lord.
Pastor Kumuyi: “Consider what the Lord has done for you — the healing, your salvation, His protection over you, His provision for you, among others. Anytime we belittle what God has done in our lives, we make Him unhappy. The mixed multitude among the children of Israel were not saved, sanctified, as such do not have the spirit of the Lord.” Speaking last week during the Covenant Sunday Service on the theme, “The New Anointing For Sons And Servants In The New Covenant,” Kumuyi urged Christians to crave for the outpoure of God’s Holy Spirit that will empower them to break every yoke that may stand on their way to victory in 2024. Citing the 70 elders chosen from among the children of Israel and endowed with the spirit of Moses to assist him in the work of the Lord.
