Adorned in black suits, white shirts and wine school ties with complementing sash that bore their names, the students and guests marched to The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), alongside management members and staff to thank God for the end of the session and to see the school through another.
The proprietress, Mrs. Nadia Bashir-Bello, tasked them to be mindful of where they are coming from and where they are headed. She stressed the importance of doggedness, resilience and being focused on overcoming obstacles, noting that they will definitely come across challenges, but with the right mindset they will overcome.
Mrs. Bashir-Bello revealed that the school’s main focus is on students’ capacity building, moral uprightness and spirituality, alongside having good academic background.
Revd. Akintola Oni of TREM encouraged the students to be of good behaviour, adding that life is full of challenges and that the manner they handled their challenges would determine their next level in life.
The height of the event was the award of prizes and the collection of testimonials.
