Bowen holds lecture on national economic survival
Bowen University, Iwo, will on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 host a lecture on tackling the current economic challenges facing the country. The university’s Faculty of Social and Management Sciences is therefore holding its maiden Faculty Lecture on the topic: The State of the Nigerian Economy: Strategies for Survival
A financial expert, Deacon Titus Jide Soetan, president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) will deliver the lecture, while Professor Segun Ajibola, President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) will chair.
Professor John Ayoade, Dean, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences states that the purpose of the lecture is among other things to proffer solutions to the current recession in the country.
The platform will suggest policy options for reflating the economy to the government.
