Kalligraphy initiative organises keep UNIBEN clean day

The Kalligraphy Club of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has held its maiden edition of UNIBEN Clean Day. Dressed in white tops and a pair of jean trouser, members went round Hall 1, 2 and 3, as well as, the parks to pick litters and clear the drainage.

The Kalligraphy Club of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has held its maiden edition of UNIBEN Clean Day. Dressed in white tops and a pair of jean trouser, members went round Hall 1, 2 and 3, as well as, the parks to pick litters and clear the drainage.

The president, Ezekiel Efeobhokhan, said the organisation aims to inculcating the culture of cleanliness in the students. He added that the project objectives are tailored to meet the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6.

Speaking with CampusNews, Judith Agbonifo, a volunteer, said: “It was an opportunity to reach out to people and to create an awareness on how dirt should be properly disposed for the wellbeing of others.”
