To mark the 16th anniversary of Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City Worldwide, the Senior Pastor, Dr. Chris Okafor, has empowered at least 48 church members.

Okafor, who gave N100, 000 each to the beneficiaries, said for people to sustain their deliverance without compromise, they needed to be assisted to sustain their means of livelihood. He also gave out food items to 400 widows and paid medical fees of 25 people.

He noted that Christianity is beyond prayers and deliverance, as it also entails sustaining those delivered, so they can carry on in life without any compromise.

“We are celebrating 16 years of existence, 16 years of winning souls into the kingdom of God, 16 years of depopulating the kingdom of darkness and taking the good news of Jesus Christ to all the nooks and crannies of the world,” he said.

Reacting to the kind gesture, Florence, a beneficiary, said she was recently given quit notice by her landlord, but with the cash gift, the Lord had restored hope to her home.

Recounting his experience in the hand of kidnappers eight years ago, the cleric said: “If not for God, the devil never wanted the church to get to where it is today. If not for God, the devil wanted to cut the mandate short. But the devil was put to shame and today, the church is waxing stronger and the kingdom of darkness getting depopulated. The enemy will continue to try, but they will always fail.”
