Community, Rotary honour Nzechi’s philanthropic efforts

The Rotary Club of Umuahia, Abia State, has honoured Chief Charles Nzechi, with the ‘Exemplary Lifestyle Award’, for his developmental and humanitarian efforts to Isingwu community in Umuahia North Local Government Area of the state.

Nzechi, an International relations expert, founder, and facilitator of Charles Nzechi Foundation, had earlier been honored by his community with a chieftaincy award for giving a face-lift to their Community Secondary School, with the provision of toilet facilities, scholarships and empowerment to members of the community.

During the conferment, he said both awards would spur him to render more humanitarian services to the needy in the society, in line with his life philosophy.

He said; “My philosophy in life is in line with that of the Rotary Cub, which includes succoring and assisting the poor and needy in the society.”
