Dabitos holds career week, thrills parents


Dabitos School, Lagos.

Dabitos School, Ilasamaja, Lagos, was recently the centre of attraction, when pupils of the school during its career week sported the work cloths of different professions and also tried to act like professionals.

Tagged, ‘Pretending Profession,’ the pupils, who were within age bracket of two to six years, were dressed in the professional outfits of police, lawyer, medical doctor and other professions. They also pretended to perform the professional work of the clothes they wore.

The proprietress, Mrs. Adenike Oshidero explained that the event was organised to familiarise the pupils with the different careers of their parents.

She said: “The programme is part of the school’s mission statement and vision for the pupils, which include building a solid foundation for the leaders of tomorrow, by providing an invaluable legacy in the area of education.

“The methodology adopted is based on research and our years of experience in the art of knowledge transfer places emphasis on improving analytical and critical thinking skills among our children. We also engage them in out-of-class learning experiences within and outside the country.”
