The Word of God is an indispensable force to be applied in our daily walk with God. The Word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Engaging the Word of God is fundamental for a victorious Christian living.

Key Verse: Luke 5:5, “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” (KJV)

The Word of God is an indispensable force to be applied in our daily walk with God. The Word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Engaging the Word of God is fundamental for a victorious Christian living. The next level of your life, career, business, ministry, and profession is activated when you engage the force of the Word of God. Your placement in life is guaranteed when you apply the force of the Word of God.

Life is full of resisting forces because it is full of battles but as you engage the force of the Word of God, victory is sure. Our faith in the Word of God is the victory of our faith. 1 John 5:4, “…. and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

No doubt, some failures are spiritual. If it is so, you must learn how to resist the forces of darkness by engaging the forces of the kingdom to take what belongs to you by force. Mathew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of the heavens is taken by violence and the violent seize it.”

Paul said for a great door is open to me but there are many adversaries (1 Corinthians 16:9). The adversaries are the opposing forces fighting to resist the manifestations of the promises of God in your life. Beloved, I assure you that as you engage the Word of God against these opposing forces, they will bow in the name of Jesus and your blessings will be released to you.

Jesus said to Peter, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a draught” (Luke 5:4). To “launch” means to propel by force; move by force and swiftness; to engage a higher force; to dive into a miracle and to move with great speed. When there are promptings in the spirit, what is required is that you act immediately. The man by the pool of Bethsaida was there for 38 years without the healing of his infirmity because he was sluggish and did not launch into the pool of water immediately at a certain season when the Angel of God stirred the water (John 5:7).

One of the reasons we experience a delay in our life is that we lack spiritual sensitivity so as to know when to act promptly. When there are promptings in the spirit, respond to it immediately to grab a miracle. Don’t over analyse it because it may not make sense to you. Sometimes instructions from the Spirit do not make sense. God told Abraham to leave his father’s house to a land He will show him (Genesis 12:1). You have been sluggish for too long, I decree in the name of Jesus receive a miracle NOW.

Peter said, Master, I had toiled all through the night for a catch, but nothing to show for it but at thy WORD I lay down the net.

When Peter obeyed, the force of the WORD was engaged and they caught a great number of fish, and their net was tearing (Net-breaking/sinking miracle). Peter signaled to their partners in the other boat to help them. And they came and filled both boats that they began to sink.

I decree by the authority of the Word of God, your season of toiling without productivity is over in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
