Abiodun, Salami, Akabueze, others to attend Foursquare Gospel Church public lecture on Sept. 17

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, is expected to grace Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria, 12th year public lecture holding on September 17, 2025, as chairman of the occasion, while Senior Fellow and Associate Professor at Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan-Atlantic University, Dr. Doyin Salami, will be the guest lecturer.

Discussants at the event include, former Director General, Budget and Planning of the Federation, Pastor Ben Akabueze; Management Consultant and Vice President of Sustainability Professional Institute of Nigeria (SPIN), Mrs. Ini Abimbola; and former Country Director of Action Aid Nigeria, Dr. Otive Igbuzor.

With the theme, “Poverty Alleviation, Economic Development and Stability of the Nigerian Economy,” the event will at The Marquee, Harbour Point, Wilmot Close, Victoria Island, Lagos by 11:00am.
The General Overseer of the church, Reverend Sam Aboyeji, disclosed this during the press conference held at the National Headquarters of the church in Yaba to announce the yearly lecture and the 70th National Convention of the church, adding that the lecture is part of activities to mark the church’s 70th anniversary in Nigeria.

Aside that, Aboyeji disclosed that the church has another special October programme, titled: “Holy Spirit Refreshing Dew,” holding on October 1, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island from 8:00am to 12:00noon.

He said: ” The October programme is our Holy Spirit Refreshing Dew, a special October edition of our quarterly evangelistic outreach programme. It promises to be an awesome jubilee praise extravaganza with both internal and external guest artistes joining us to declare God’s praise.”

The cleric also added that fathers of faith such Pastor Enoch Adeboye; National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke; Bishop David Oyedepo; Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and the Church’s International President, Reverend Randy Remington, from the United States of America.
