Appreciate God, Muoka urges members At Lord’s Chosen 22nd Anniversary

As the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries celebrates its 22nd anniversary, its General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has urged members to appreciate God for what He has done for the church over these years, saying whatever that has happened today in the Lord’s Chosen is the Lord’s doing and finger of God. Muoka stressed that despite the challenges that the church passed through in its existence, God stood by the church and gave them victory over their enemies.

He likened the trials of the church to that of the Psalmist and Israelites of old. The cleric, who spoke on the theme: “Bless The Lord, O My Soul,” last Thursday, said every Chosen member had reason to bless the Lord. According to him, the Lord has delivered the church from many temptations and trials.

“God has made us to triumph over evil, and all works of darkness. God has been fighting all our battles and therefore, whatever we are today or have achieved it is the hand of God. Wherever we are today, it is God that has taken us to those places,” Muoka said.

Appreciating the God of Chosen, Muoka said if it was not the Lord who was on the side of the church and members, the enemy would destroyed them. He said: “We give God the glory because through His grace, we have remained focused and triumph over our enemies. Our 22nd anniversary calls for remembrance of these things God has done for us.”

Muoka described God of Chosen as dependable, reliable, wonder working God, Almighty, Mightier than all, Great Provider, All-sufficient God, Covenant keeping God, and Man of war, among others.

Calling on members not to fear, but to continue to believe in this great God of Chosen, Muoka recalled how God saved members from kidnappers, accidents, and appeared to members in mysterious ways, assuring them of God’s presence anywhere they go.

The celebration witnessed wonderful testimonies, and showers of gifts from elated members who appreciated God for the great things He has done for the church and members.
