What you think about yourself is what you really are. Proverbs 23:7a, says; “ …. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…..”

Your inner construction controls your outward life. If you have a poor self-image, it is an indication you cannot make any success.

Your thought life is what the Bible calls faith. Faith is required for effectiveness in prayer.

Your prayers could be considered unanswered if you did not believe in the result.

Therefore, except we change our evaluation of ourselves we may remain stagnant, though we spent much time travailing for success.

Don’t let one disappointment or even a series of disappointments make you give up and decide to settle where you are, you may have tried and failed a thousand times, you never know number 1001 may be the door that swings open wide, get your fire back.

Many times we put off what we know God wants us to do, maybe it’s a dream hobby that God wants us to pursue, psalm 139:14 “I will pray thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Every creature of God is perfect.

In Genesis chapter one, God Himself observes His creatures and saw that they were good; verse 4; “and God saw the light, that it was good”, verse 10; “…and God saw (the land and sea) that it was good,” verse 12; “…. and God saw (the vegetation) that it was good” verse 18; “…and God saw (the sun, the moon and stars) that it was good,” verse 21; “….and God saw (the fishes and birds) that it was good,” verse 25; “ …and God saw (the wildlife) that it was good,” verse 28; “… and God blessed them, and God said to them “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion.” I consider this that you are a champion.

After he completed the creation of every good component of the earth, He decided to create the best; one that will oversee others.

He created man in his own perfect image; to look like him in all respect.

We posses every attribute of God. God made us small gods to all other creatures.

There is no human on earth that does not have any natural endowment, skill, talent or gift.

When we discover our natural endowment and utilise it, then, with the help of the Lord we can expect breakthrough in all our endeavours.

But, poor evaluation of ourselves will hinder from bringing out the champion in us.

The Bible tells us; “for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11).

A notable man was promoted to the post of a general in the army.

He felt he was too young and incapable to stand in front of the great warriors of his time.

He went home and asked his wife; what can he do now? His wife told him; there is nothing to cringe about, dear.

Just go before them and act like a general, think like a general and speak like a general.

It sounds too simple though, but that was what changed his life forever. There is a champion in you that must be allowed to show up.

Sometime, your thought kills the champion in you and makes you live the life you don’t deserve.

The place you are born cannot stop the champion in you. Our Lord Jesus was born in a manger. (Matt. 2:11)
