Heaven and permanent standard

HEAVEN has a permanent standard that is unchanging in all ages. Nothing changes God’s standard; it remains the same and to sustain it, Christ had to die for the world in order to keep God’s standard of holiness and righteousness.

Christianity is the life of heaven on earth. It was brought down by God and handed down to man to keep. No one has what it takes to change the standard even God Himself cannot change it! One wonders the flagrant disobedience and contravention of God’s standard by preachers and high-ranking religious leaders. It is no longer a secret to see churches encouraging women to come to church with their hair uncovered even as they display various hairdo styles to entice and enslave unsuspecting worshippers.

Comedians have taken over the pulpits of some churches fuming jokes and inducing members to openly mock the word of God. Marriages have been compromised and bastardised in some assemblies. Men and women are now encouraged to remarry when they discover perceived ‘mistake’ in their marriages. This decision and judgment are unilaterally taken in concert with church leaders without recourse to God’s standard on Christian marriage.

Regrettably, these so-called ministers are quick to forget that whoever adds or subtracts from God’s word, have ostensibly subtracted his name from the book of life. The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they compromised his standard!

A congregation that compromises God’s word cannot retain God in their congregation. Anytime people go astray from God’s standard, God’s presence disappears from among the people. This calls for carefulness among believers. The fear of God has left many churches, which is why they go against God’s word at will. Messages are adulterated in churches because they have left God and his word. They have gone ahead to develop their own carnal messages that cannot affect souls positively. This is the abomination that ‘maketh’ desolate. Little wonder why general overseers have taken over the church of Christ and enthroned themselves with their pictures displayed in conspicuous places of worship centres.

As Christians and heavenly-minded believers, we must avoid churches that use olive oil, candles and holy water. These are emblems of marine spirit. Be warned! Do not attend their programmes when you are invited because your life will be destroyed. These are congregations that scorn at God’s word and standard of holiness. Any congregation that tampers with holiness has no God and believers should avoid such congregation.

Christians should not be deceived by false miracles. Miracles are not signs of God’s presence or holiness. In fact, any miracle that lacks holiness is destructive and not from God; these are pseudo miracles that are not ascertainable. It’s always difficult to vividly trace recipients of those miracles because they are staged-managed and not real. This is why some churches were banned from displaying their so-called miracles on television in Nigeria. Kingdom Power believes in miracles and it is not against it but there must be holiness first and such miracles should be in line with the standard of God’s word. Kingdom Power is out to effect changes and pull the church of Christ from the valley and restore them to its original standard.

The era of false prophecies in Nigeria is over. Some pastors are garrulous; they speak from the sides of their mouth in the name of prophesy. They make some political statements and predictions that never come through. These are enemies of the cross and they shall not prosper in their falsehood anymore because Kingdom Power is out to silence them.
