Over 11,000 participants will attend the12th edition ofLagos Archdiocesan Catholic Men Organisation of Nigeria family convention holding from August 8 to 10, 2025 at the St. Gregory College, Obalende, Ikoyi, Lagos.
LACMON President, Kingsley Ekwem, in company of other executive members of the organization, comprising Chairman of the 12th LACMON Family Convention, John IlechukwuMaka, and Vice Chairman, Mike Ogbechie, among others disclosed that the theme of the event is: “The Family, The Vocations And Path To Love Of God.”
Explaining the reason for focusing on the preservation, development and protection of the dignity of marriage and family values, Ekwem said a healthy family engenders efficient and effective productivity in the society and the economy of every nation including Nigeria.
Adding that LACMON’s faith is strongly built on the covenant of the family, Ekwem said the founder of Zinox Technologies, Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh would deliver the topic: “Family business/ entrepreneurship and family life on Friday, August 8 at 4.30:00 p.m., while a renowned medical practitioner, Dr. Phil Igbodike would speak on the theme: “His Real Presence: The Eucharist,” on the same day at 5.30:00pm.
He also noted that the Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Prof. Godfrey Onah would speak on “Confused Gender ideologies and Family life” on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 9.45:00a.m., while ChiefIbukunAwosika would speak on “Artificial Intelligence (AI), new technologies, devices and family life,” by 11.20:00am thesame day.
According to him, the presenters/discussants include,Abidemi Akanle; Oluseyi Akindeinde; Henry Andoh, Dr. ObielumaniIdeh and Dr. Patrick Ijewere.
The event, which will be beamed on social media and other platforms, would be rounded off with a mass and the induction of new members by 11.20a.m.
