The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Lagos Island Province, last week, inaugurated its first executive to see to the running of its affair.

Speaking after the event, chairman of the Province, Rev. Tony Samson, said that the task of forging unity and fostering fellowship within the Pentecostal body is onerous, adding that Lagos State PFN is made up of multilayered structure for easy administration and service delivery.

The cleric called on Nigerians not to lose hope on the country, saying with time and with the word of God that Nigeria of our dream will emerge.

Similarly, PFN, Lagos State Chairman, Apostle Enyinnaya Okwuonu, disclosed that the inauguration is one of the flagship events of the organization, adding that the Lagos Island Province is very strategic to organization, especially as it is a new area they are exploring.

Okwuonu urged church leaders to go beyond praying to begin to think of how to transform the minds of their members for good.

He added that the church has the solutions to the nation’s problems and as such the nation must look up to the church for the right answers.
